Saint-Venant equations

The Saint-Venant equations, known as Shallow-water equations, describe a free surface flow of incompressible fluid.

Example

This example simulate a time evolution of water surface after droplet fall. The 2D computational dimensionalles domain has 1 width and 1 height. The initial conditions are: zero velocities u = 0, v = 0 and surface heigh h = 0.5. Inside the circle with the center Xs = [0.5, 0.5] and the radius r = 0.1 the vaule of surface height is set to h = 0.8. At the boundaries the boundary contition representing wall is prescribed. The images show the time evolution of the surface.
